Microsoft Ups Ante against Sony, Bose with Surface Headphones

Having refurbished its Surface laptop series, tech behemoth Microsoft has just declared the rollout of new products numbering to four. Those are Surface Studio 2, Surface Pro 6, Surface Laptop 2, and Surface Headphones. The last being the first ever headphones to be launched by the company.

Besides, new features and functionalities in Office 365 and Windows were announced too. Microsoft further added that Windows 10 October 2018 update is now available for its users. All such declarations were made at an event in New York on Tuesday.

While Surface Pro 6 prices would start from US$899, prices of Surface Laptop 2 would start from US$999. Those could be pre ordered from October 16 onwards in the US. The Surface Headphones with a price of US$349 could be bought later in the year. The Surface Studio 2, on the other hand, would be priced at US$3,499.

Surface Headphones is comprised of 13 levels of noise control. For example, there are two beam-forming microphones for ear cup. And there are a total of eight microphones that help the user to focus on sounds he or she is keen on capturing. Besides, they can also adjust easily the noise cancellation and volume levels with new and intuitive on-ear dials.

The other product Surface Pro 6 is embedded with the most recent Intel Quad Core processor. It is almost 67% faster than the fifth generation Surface Pro. It has been repurposed so that it can store more power besides having the versatility, portability, and round-the-clock battery.
